IUTAM typically requires that a written record of any IUTAM Symposium be disseminated in some manner to the outside world.
For our Symposium, we decided to follow the lead of the IUTAM Symposium "Interactions of Dispersed Systems in Newtonian & Viscoelastic Fluids",
held in Guanajuato, Mexico, March 26-30, 2006 and publish some of the papers as a Special Topic Section in a regular issue of The Physics of Fluids.
Please note that we shall not require that any of you should write a paper, but we'll make the decision strictly voluntary.
For those of you who would like to contribute a paper, please keep in mind the following:
To appear in the Special Topic Section of the PoF, all papers will have to be submitted to the PoF office by September 30, 2007. The papers
will then be sent out for review in the usual manner (with Andreas Acrivos acting as the guest editor) and those found acceptable
will appear in the March or April 2008 issue of the PoF. More information on this will be given during the Symposium.
